At ZAR 449.99 a reasonable purchase. Nice mix of pieces & colours in the set with two fairly generic mini-figures. As a 3in1 set you have the option of building the Post Office, News Stand or the Toy & Grocery Store. All models are built with hinges to open them up and increase playability & display options.

The two vending machines, the micro build robot & train add some nice detail along with the fruit & vegetable display.

COGO #3008-6 PARASAUROLOPHUS (DINO SERIES)

Great value for money at just ZAR 20.00 per set. Simple, quick build and yet remains fun with the 3 in 1 build options. Buying all sets in the series allows for and 8 in 1 option.

 

 

Note - stickers are supplied to denote the eyes and have not been applied.

 

 

LEGO® #75082 - STAR WARS TIE ADVANCED PROTOTYPE

There is just something about building a Star Wars model! We do find that as soon as the words Star Wars are attached to a model you tend to be paying a premium; hence we have not purchased as many in the series as we would have liked.

The TIE Advanced Prototype as featured on Star Wars Rebels is one of out favourite builds to date and consits of 355 pieces. (ZAR 1.97 per piece!).

Model features two cannons with shooting projectiles. The rear of the model rates to release the springloaded projectiles.

There are three mini-figures included; Inquisitor (Exclusive to this set), TIE Fighter Pilot & Imperial Officer.

PLAY BUILD TOYS - LA LUCIA

Just have to compliment the Lego Store in La Lucia Mall - Play & Build Toys. They are very attentive to customers and always helpful. Most often than not a costly visit non-the-less worthwhile to pop in even just to browse and have a chat.

Our last visit to the store saw us walk out with Ghostbusters & The Big Bang Theory from the Cuusoo range.

Add that they now have a loyalty program, a great day out shopping!

ENLIGHTEN # 127 - CASH TRUCK

Not the best of looking vehicles and a simple build. There are however some nice details included like the safes with cash & gems.

A signle instruction sheet with 6 poly bags of parts.

Both sides open up on hinges to reveal the interior and contents, would have been nice if the back doors also hinged to make the more a little more realistic.
