 Enjoyable build with lots of playability. For its size the model is rigid and sturdy, with the front cannon able to shoot small projectiles.

A negative would be the scale of the ship's bridge to the mini characters. The helicopter is relatively simple and yet fits the purpose.

In general a rather disappointing set. Design of the model is poor with many weak areas, parts do not align and fitment is also a problem. Yellow tends more to an orange colour and the wheels often get jammed against the body.

 

 We combined two of these models for an MOC grader, once again alignment problems were experienced with poor 'clutching' also evident. Clutching problems can be overcome with model glue, there is however no solution to the quality and alignment issues.

Loongon is the worst of the bricks to date and will be avoided in future.

Quality bricks with no issues. Relatively simple yet fun build. Some of the components have decals printed and others require stickers. We have not applied the stickers as we plan to strip this set down and use the components to build a wind turbine for Luboville.

Our latest haul..

Seem to be finding blocks in all the strangest locations at this stage. On a recent trip to Johannesburg we found these block sets in a leading hardware store. Piles and piles of blocks were laid out on a clearance sale and it was amazing to see just how many people were purchasing the products. Unfortunately we only purchased one set to check quality and compatibility of the blocks. Satisfied we returned two days later to find very little stock left and hence missed out on all the military, police and fire sets. None the less a relatively good haul at a very reasonable price.

We will review each set in the coming weeks.
