It is the first Enlighten set we were a little disappointed with as we experienced a slight alignment problem with the bases and the completed build is not the best of designs. That said the set does provides some useful pieces with a fair amount of playability for the younger ones, especially those who are into 'Pirates'.
Cannons are springloaded as is the harpoon gun on the row boat.
The cell has a spring mechnism fitted with a 'loose wall' allowing for easy escape by the captive minifig.
It is important to note that Enlighten does not provide instructions for the alternative builds as reflected on the back of the box.
